I had a chance last weekend to visit California. I left just before another snowstorm and arrived to sunshine.
The first place we went was the ocean in the early morning, no one was there except the wonderful birds. We joined them as they lined up for the sunrise and enjoyed the warmth that comes with it. The colors were such a treat to experience, the brilliant blue below, not above.
The color of the sand made the greens pop and the texture of the feathers in the sand was a treat for the eyes.
The birds stay together by their type, seagulls with seagulls, sand pipers with sand pipers... as they take off and land they stay in there group.
I have never seen an ice plant so happy... it was definitely in it's element...
Such a gift to experience, nature is always giving...
... we need to remember to give back.....
