Transformation. From ice and snow to puddles and sand. From bare branches to leafy boughs. From eggs to chirping yellow chicks. From a piece of paper to a boat. Spring reminds us that nothing is ever completely as it seems. Everything is full of hidden potential. Origami is all about potential. Somewhere inside a stack of flat square paper there is a boat, or a swan or a flower. There's a space where thoughts and intentions become physical objects. A space where normally restless fingers can learn patience and dexterity. A space where a rainy day indoor activity can become an outdoor voyage into uncharted imaginary worlds that last as long as there are more puddles to explore.
Happy Exploring!
