Each year this snake crosses my path usually as I walk down the drive way. I see him only once a year as he migrates towards lower ground.
He is a good snake (a Bullsnake) in the sense that he is not poisonous. He looks like a rattle snake but without a rattle on the tail.
When I go out in the field I say "snakes you are welcome to all on this land just stay out of my sight." I have a deep unknown fear that sends a shiver up my spine and my body suddenly will jump high and far separate from my mind when a snake appears.
I think if my eyes could see as the camera does, his eyes and his little face, my deep fear would ease.
