Sandhill Crane (Grus canadensis): These elegant dancing birds mate for life, share parenting duties, sing together... and are mesmerizing to watch move their way through a field on a warm summer day. The International Crane Foundation has great information including recordings of the Sandhill Crane's vocalizations ( contact, unison, and guard calls), as well as a free photo gallery where you can download images of these wonderful creatures.
