With the cooler rainier summer season this year, the sun hasn't been out as much as we're used to here on the farm, but now that the wild sunflowers have started to bloom, there's sun on my doorstep every morning regardless of the weather!
Just a few weeks ago these flowers could barely be seen...but with a few good days of summer heat they are ready to show off.
Big petals, small petals, light and dark centers, all different sizes, each one true to their name... and a clear reminder that the simplest things can really make your day... Hello sun!
