Portable Shadow Puppet Theater and Game supplies:
- One theater screen constructed of a simple rectangular piece of cotton muslin edged with cotton and Grosgrain ribbons, embellished with vintage buttons.
- One, All in One Card Deck outfitted with shadow puppet prompts (I simply added images to the card blanks before printing, but you could also just glue or draw them on, see link below) for games ranging from shadow puppet chirades to shadow puppet Ad-libs where three cards chosen at random can become the basis for great storytelling and even better theater.
- One book for writing down said stories.
- Beautiful public domain illustrations of shadow puppets from 1858 (scroll down page to see all images)
- One simple cotton muslin carry-all bag to hold everything made from a folded piece of cloth sewn on two sides with ribbon for handles.
- One sheet of iron-on bird silhouettes for said bag (available in craft stores or you could simply print them from your home compter with clip art birds).
- A lot of imagination, laughter and creativity.
