Finally, after much anticipation, fall has arrived in my neck of the woods...
... I was sincerely beginning to wonder, as September came and went and the days just kept getting hotter...
... but the other morning I looked outside and there she was...hints of gold and red peeking out from under their branches...starting from the inside, and slowing spreading outward...
... the morning air finally had that cold bite, hinting at the frost to come...and the blustering fall wind kicked up leaves in frenzied swirls of color...
... and just around the bend in the stream, I can see it is clear, autumn has come to stay.
