It's a gray, gray and more gray day here on the farm. By the end of winter everything looks gray, even the snow. Even TT who, due to age, is also a little gray. She is the matriarch of our herd.
Being a wise old soul though, she decided to bring a bit of color to the day. PINK!
She kept sticking her tongue out at me trying to let me know she wanted a bit of grain, she just knew it was in my pocket.
She was persistent and fortunately I noticed her sign language, she got a bit of grain on this gray day and I got a good giggle.
I then turned towards the barn to find the wild hare sharing the sheep's hay and water. The wild hare also happen to be gray, their winter coats blend in with the land.
But there was this lone little wild hare who also introduced PINK to this gray day... she or he stuck it's tongue out at me after a drink of water.
To pink and gray and all in the same day...
And to spring, just around the corner....
