It may be a little bit premature, but I can't help myself...
I love looking for signs of life after a long and cold winter.
I realize these lovely little shoots may not make it to spring, but there is just something so genuine in the sheer effort of persistence, against all odds...
... to put forth new energy...
... and let their green leaves grow!
There may be a bit more winter left, but that won't stop me from looking for signs of new life, or from looking forward to sunny afternoons in the garden.
