I came across the most amazing sight a few days ago...
... strung out across the trial, nose to tail...
... pulled along by an almost invisible silk thread...
... a line of caterpillars several feet long!...
... making the long trek from one set of bushes to the next, and inching into spring one fuzzy caterpillar at a time.
Here's to all journeys big and small...
