sometimes if I'm lucky a good story will just pop into my head, but most of the time I need a little inspiration. Which is why once in a while it is necessary to venture out, into the great unknown, and see what I find...
Great stories often come from the unplanned, or rather the unexpected. Like getting lost, getting frustrated and then coming across a hidden bridge a thousand years old and forgetting all about the headaches that led up to that moment...
... or wondering through an isolated beach town and coming across the same hand-painted classic bicycle multiple times in one day.
Of course having good travel companions always make the memories and stories last...
... and good food to fuel for the journey is a must.
Alone each of these things is wonderful in itself, but add them all together and I now have a well stocked pantry of fun, adventure, lots of laughter and some very good new stories.
