Just because Earth Day has come and gone, doesn't mean we can't keep celebrating all year long...
... from learning about water cycles...
... to beautiful ecosystems...
... and fun new projects we can do at home...
... there is never a better opportunity to learn about our wonderful planet than every day of the year!
That's why I love A Child's Introduction to the Environment by Michael Driscoll and Professor Dennis Driscoll with beautiful illustrations by Meredith Hamilton. Similar to its counterpart A Child's Introduction to the Night Sky, the environmental version is full of great information about every aspect of our functioning planet, pictures and fun projects all aimed at creating a better understanding of how our earth operates and how we can help her.
So go ahead, make every day Earth Day!
For a chance to win a copy of A Child's Introduction to the Environment, simply leave a comment on this post by Wednesday May 18th. The winner will be chosen by random number and announced Thursday May 19th.
Good Luck!
