Earlier this week I asked some friends to help me write a story. So I came up with the first few lines and each of my friends then added on, creating a story train that went a little something like this...
Jordan: Once upon a time there was a Bobcat named Max who...
Silvia: Loved to swim, which was unusual for any member of the cat family. One day Max was taking his usual carefree swim when...
Dean: He spotted his second love, a great big comb of honey hanging in a tree not far off along the bank of the river.
Caitlin: Climbing out of the river, sopping wet, Max really wanted to eat some of that yummy, delicious honey. But then! A crazy husky jumped out of the bushes and beat Max to it! So, being the smart animal that Max is, he....
Katie: Hid in the nearby bushes and pulled out his "only for emergency purposes" T-Bone steak in hopes of luring the husky away from the honey. The steak was looking flavorful and juicy and was sure to catch the eye of the dog.
Sure enough - the "only for emergency purposes" steak worked! The husky slinked from the base of the tree sniffing for the delicious piece of meat.
Upon finding Max in the bushes, the husky jumped incredibly high in the air because he realized...
Kiel: One of the bees from the honey comb was heading right for him! So the husky ran away. As soon as the dog was out of sight Max made friends with the honey bees, ate his beloved honey and dried off in the sunshine...
Some of the best stories are the kind that are passed from friend to friend around a circle. You never know where the story will lead!
