For weeks now I have been waiting, patiently, eagerly, peeking in on my garden boxes looking for signs of life. After much worrying the first shoots reached out of the dirt and into the sun, a few weeks more and my patients has definitely been rewarded. Just look at those radishes! (a different variety than I am used to, but beautiful all the same, tasty too!)
The flower garden is also coming along, albeit a bit more on the conservative side than I was hoping for. Sadly the day I planted these seeds was a windy one, so I'm thinking the seeds that I scattered just on the surface, probably blew away. Again, not what I was hoping for, but I'm taking the lady bug's love of my sunflowers as a good sign and I'm going to enjoy the beautiful blooms I do have going.
The vegetable garden on the other hand has been quite a success. Starting with my radishes, I think I will soon have a few other crops to harvest...
... like delicious orange carrots...
... and beautiful baby greens. I can't wait!
How are your gardens coming along? Let us know in the comments section below, and if you can, leave a link to the some photos!
