Last week I wrote about Wynken, Blynken and Nod flying the coop. I thought it might be fun for you to actually see them flying the coop or at least trying...
Chickens do not fly well, but oh do they like to try. I love it when they run, flapping their wings, never leaving the ground... we call it turbo walking. Nod, when he has just landed, will turbo walk taking a pass around all before settling down.
With Thanksgiving arriving tomorrow, my thoughts are of my little ones, now fully grown, who have all flown the coop. Some returning, some not, for the holiday.
Those not returning extend our family's traditions to others, sharing the foods, activities and thoughts that come with Thanksgiving. Especially gratitude...
We at Bryn Du Farm thank you for visiting, sharing, with us. Time is precious.
Sharing thoughts and ideas, leads to dreams. It is our hope that your dreams may take flight in the coming year.
Even though, like the chickens, it may sometimes be hard to fly... it's oh so much fun to try.
Many blessings,
Deb
