I awoke to softly falling snow, moisture had finally arrived and all on Bryn Du Farm sighed with relief, it had been too dry!
Vic our border collie wanted out early, she knew something was up. She rolled and raced around with great joy.
The pattern of dried grasses peaking up through the snow was a delicate reminder of the season past, and that it just was not ready to go.
Mona, Vic's daughter and fearless sheep herder welcomed the snow, gobbling it up before she did anything else.
The wild geraniums transplanted from the fields and multiplying in the flowers beds this spring looked like they too welcomed the moisture.
Just hoping the temperature doesn't get too cold and that the wild flowers survive.
With great thankfulness to the snow.
