May flowers come with spring showers, and we are hoping for few more (it's starting to get dry again!). The farm land opens it's eyes with the wild crocus, it awakens with a blanket of small white blooms making it look like it has been covered with a dusting of snow....
Once the crocus show up, the meadow lark start singing a chorus with the robins and bluebirds, it is then that the other wild flowers wake up, or at least it seems that way....
The wild bluebells are my favorite, the color is just enchanting. Their blossoms in such small delicate bell shapes, ringing in the spring.
What wild flowers have you noticed in your neighborhood, yard or land? Dandelions are my favorite, many think they are weeds but oh my they are sweet ones, I enjoy them for their bright yellow pin cushion flower, and the crowns they make possible for little ones.
To weeds and wild flowers and the gifts they bring.
