Jack-o-lanterns, dragons, and wizards oh my! Tis the season, and we couldn't think of a better book to celebrate it with.
Autumn is full of colorful magic, and so is the story of Merlina and the Magic Spell, sweetly written and beautifully illustrated by Daniela Drescher.
The lovely cover is a good lead, but I was hooked the moment Merlina accidentally turned her dragon friend Igor's toe turn into a toadstool! Poor Merlina just can't seem to get the spell to help her friend right, and the adventure they go on to find a solution is fun and sweet, proving that sometimes the simplest answer is the best one.
The illustrations in the book are just beautiful, and a little spooky too, which makes them perfect for this time of year.
With a great balance of magic and fun, this book is perfect for bedtime in the weeks to come. Which is why we think you should have a copy!
