A marvelous gift arrived the other day: moisture! The wind brought squalls of snow blowing through the forest near our farm.
The horses needed extra blankets, wearing two layers the outer one with a neck collar for extra warmth it went down to 1 degree during the night and only up to 9 during the day.
Buckets iced up and needed lots of warm water added to keep them from freezing up quickly again.
This time of year with snow outside. . .
. . . and mounds of wool inside, I am having such fun creating. . .
. . . fairies and their homes that fly out of here, literally, to little ones and big ones this holiday season.
My herd of Jacob Sheep and I thank you!
To all the making and baking this holiday season.
