After spending last weekend in California, I realized something... in some places winter does not mean snow, but rather rain. Serves me right for expecting it to be sunny and warm, but the weather did get me thinking, where do all the bugs and animals go when it rains?
Luckily for me author Gerdda Muller explores this very idea in her delightful picture book titled Where Do They Go When it Rains?
Leafing through the beautifully illustrated pages I learned that ducks and geese love the wet weather, because the rain just rolls off their backs...
... that puddle jumping is the one of the best things ever...
... and that if you're lucky, a rainbow will follow even the heaviest of showers.
So for everyone out there that does not get snow this time of year, this book is a great way to stay warm and cozy inside while learning about where everyone goes when it rains. Or if you're like me, its great inspiration to go jump in a puddle! Which is why we think one of you should have a copy!
For a chance to win a copy , simply leave a comment on this post by 8am MST Thursday February 7th. The winner will be chosen by random number and announced later that day.
And the winner is... Joey wrote:
