The day is here, one of friends, family, great food, and best of all, a day spent outside and an evening under the stars. The 4th of July was always about family for us. Every year like clockwork we would pile our family, our bags and our dogs into the car and head North to the "Big Sky Country" of Montana for a little family reunion. We looked forward to the trip and the day every year. It was a chance to catch up with cousins, run through open pastures, and go fishing with Grandpa. Being a family-run establishment, this yearly pilgrimage has no doubt been a big influence for us at Imagine Childhood. With that in mind, here are a few things that bring us back to those fun times with family, and those beautiful Montana sunsets. We hope you enjoy them too!
Fishing with Grandpa was a highlight of every trip, learn how to make your own fishing pole and lure those fishies in! (Magnets are a good substitute of no rivers of lakes are near by).
Cool off with a refreshing glass of lemonade and a rousing game of checkers on a home-made, easily transportable checker board.
Keep the fun going well into the night with this great make your-own-game pack!
The 4th of July would not be the 4th with out yummy treats to fuel all the fun. Show your colors and dive into the delicious, amazingness that is this Red, White, and Blue Mini Pavlova.
From our family to yours...
Happy 4th of July!
