"F" is for flowers, as far as the eye can see...
... "B" is for blossoms on every pretty tree...
... "M" is for Magnolias, pink, and fair, and bright...
... while "W" stands for Wild Fennel, because "F" was already taken.
It's the time of year here in Spain when Wild Asparagus plants grow like weeds, or so I have been told. So a friend and I went on a mission to find them, and then eat them. The hike was beautiful, the sun was warm on our backs, but no Asparagus was to be found, so we plodded home feeling rather defeated. The feeling made all the more frustrating as we were soon passed by a few locals with their hands full of it.
I'm thinking we need to make some new friends, local ones, or try a lot harder.
