A good movie, whether the film or shadow puppet version, requires some great treats. Don't get me wrong, I love raisonettes and red vines, but a movie night is always more fun with home made snacks.
And what is more irresistible than crunchy, savory, golden brown pretzels? I used this wonderfully easy recipe from one of my favorites, the lovely Alton Brown.
Along with a few yummy (and healthy) toppings, these pretzel sticks are pretty hard to beat!
Paired with a few of our favorite classics, Animal Cracker S'mores and Honey Popcorn Planets...
... a night in at the movies is a summer evening well spent.
