What can I say, I love Daniela Drescher. Each one of her sweet stories is like a dreamy journey to another land.
Her lovely watercolors blur the boundaries between the real and the imaginary...
... while her stories are sweet and playful.
In this installment of her wonderful work, we meet Lily the Little Princess. All summer long the bugs and animals of the hedge provide more than enough friendship and entertainment, but come winter many are fast asleep, or far away in warmer climates.
So Lily the Little Princess decides to go looking for someone who will want to play all year round. I won't spoil the ending, but lets just say it involves a prince... I think you can take it from there. The story is delightful, and as I said before, the artwork is simply dreamy. Lily the Little Princess is a bright and colorful summer read that will last well into the winter months.
Which is why we think one of you wonderful readers should have a copy! For a chance to win a copy of Lily the Little Princess, simply leave a comment on this post by 10am MST Thursday June 5th. The winner will be chosen by random number and announced later that day.
And the winner is Kim who said:
"Beautiful book!"
Thanks for participating everyone!
