Our book turns two years old today, and for its second birthday, we gave it a video! It seemed like the least we could do after it has given us so much. From. . .
. . . the early days of making and imagining. . .
. . . to the beautiful, humbling, and inspiring journey of seeing it out in the world. . .
. . . to sharing it with new friends in big forts. . .
. . . and big forests. . .
. . . this adventure has been nothing short of amazing.
But, the book really only deserves a small portion of the credit. Without you it would have just been a pile of paper and ink, a hope and a dream. You have made this book come alive. Seeing it become a part of your lives, hearing your stories, and watching that beautiful spark come into a child's eyes as they take one of the projects and make it their own. . . and make it better. . . has been one of the best journeys of my life. So, truly, and deeply, thank you. As I look back over the past few years, my heart is full.
So, now it's time to celebrate! Since this is our second book birthday, today we're giving away two different prizes! You can either enter to win one of the three copies of Imagine Childhood that we're giving away, or if you already have the book, you can enter to win a $50 gift certificate to the shop!

Your blog is a complete inspiration too every time I visit it. I'm not joking when I tell people that discovering imagine childhood has made me a better parent! Around the kids' birthdays and holidays, I make wish lists as a helpful resource for grandparents and relatives. Imagine childhood offerings are always heavily represented in the mix. Simple, beautiful play things and high quality art and handwork supplies that inspire imaginative play, nature exploration, creativity and wonder.
