This time of year is always so fascinating to me, everything is changing so quickly. Nothing is quite what I thought it was, and it's wonderful. With the falling of the leaves, new shapes and structures appear, bringing new meaning to trees trunks and branches.
This thought process brings me back to an old friend, and an excellent adventure... Elsa Beskow's classic tale, The land of Long Ago.
In this land we meet Kai and Kelly, who have been tricked by a very old gnome, and are now in a foreign and exciting new world. Once where tree trunks covered in Moss, turn into flying dragons. A place where Troll Kings, Knights, and Princesses are the definition of Normal.
I have to say, it's a pretty fun story to get lost in. Which is why we want to give one of you wonderful readers a copy... oh, and a Dragon too!
