On March 1st,1872 Congress passed the Yellowstone Act, establishing our first national park. One hundred and forty three years later, hundreds of millions of visitors enjoy all the wonders and open space Yellowstone and the now 57 other national parks have to offer every year.
These iconic spaces are not only part of our heritage, but a big part of our identity and our commitment to preserving the incredible sense of wildness each park embodies.
Where else can you see waterfalls, giant redwoods, epic valleys carved by ice, geysers, and best of all, the wildlife that has been here all along?
Which is why we love these National Park Bandanas! Measuring 22" by 22" each bandana is made from 100% cotton and printed with a topographical map of a national park. It was difficult to choose just six, so I'm sure we will be adding more in the future, but what a way to see these epic landscapes! Lay one out and suddenly you are transported to the space in a whole new (and yet very old fashioned) way. When each park is so vast, it's pretty wonderful to see the each one in such a contained, yet detailed space.
Not only that, but they are also a fully functional bandana, providing excellent sun protection and serving a whole host of other duties. So go ahead, pick your favorite, and take the beauty and wonder of the national parks with you on all your adventures this summer!
