This week's lovely Nature Walk comes to us from right here in beautiful Colorado by your very own Imagine Childhood team. Each week we share adventures from around the globe, but every once in a while, we share one of our own treks into the wilderness, and we just couldn't keep this trip to ourselves. With so much rain lately, the trails below Humboldt Peak were spectacular. Clear rushing rivers, fields of wildflowers, big blue skies and fresh mountain air. Colorado really put on a show last week and reminded us, as it always does, that nature truly is the best medicine. While our feet were a little sore after the 12 mile hike up to 12,000 feet, our hearts grew three sizes by experiencing the beauty this amazing planet has to offer. If you're in the area, get up there, you won't regret it. If you're not in this area, get out in the woods wherever you are, they will soothe your soul and inspire your spirit.
If you would like to contribute to our weekly Nature Walk series, you can learn more about submitting photos here, or you can also visit our new Nature Walk Group Pool on Flickr to add your adventures to the collection.
