Poppies are everywhere in the countryside surrounding Girona, Spain. Tucked into hillsides, adding bright pops of color to dormant fields, and generally bringing a smile to my face around every bend in the trail. I look forward to these few weeks every year. Poppies are definitely the sign that spring is in full swing and that it's time to get outside and enjoy them!
