Each spring I am amazed at the yucca plant. It dares to create buds that it can't really open on it's own. So as nature would have it, ants move in and help the yucca plant out. But this year I noticed something different. It wasn't actually hard to notice as the little red and black creatures moved seamlessly in and out of the petals, but it surprised me none the less. They were ladybugs! And they were everywhere. Nature's surprises are one of my most favorite things.
