I am high up in the Colorado wilderness, and the Lupin are blooming! Lovely conical structures filled with bright, iridescent blooms now dot the landscape. They don't last long, so catching them at their peak is truly something special. The past few summers I either catch them too early or too late, so to be here at just the right time is making me feel like Goldilocks.
