July is that wonderful mid summer month where school days are still far off in the distance and you've settled into your seasonal rhythm. It's the time of road trips, lazy days in the neighborhood park, or just some deliciously relaxed afternoon make believe sessions in the backyard. Whatever your days may bring, it's always nice to have a few games on hand for that moment when those sweet kiddos of yours look up at you and say "I'm bored!".
Below you'll find a few of our favorite DIY games for kids that not only give them an activity to do while they craft the games, but also, something they can return to again and again. Oh, and did we mention that they're extremely portable? Stash one or two in your bag for your next adventure or trip!
Invite your children to test their balancing skills in all sorts of places with this fun, brightly colored game!
Need a two-in-one? Try out our reversible checkers and tic-tac-toe fabric game board that also had a convenient pocket for all of the pieces!
Speaking of two-in-one, this lovely game board can be used for Bird Land or. . .
. . . Math Land! Simply make an extra set of cards and it's a whole new game.
