This year, we spent Earth Day in Yosemite. It's amazing what a few days of feeling small can do to make your heart feel ever so big. . .
How do you and your family celebrate this beautiful earth of ours?

This week's lovely nature walk comes to us from our very own Imagine Childhood editor, Sarah. After months of rain in Southern California, what is usually an almost Martian-like landscape in the Anza Borrego desert transformed into verdant fields filled with wildflowers. The desert really is a amazing place. Each plant has such a capacity to survive on the least amount of resources possible, but when water is abundant, they really know how to put on a show! Thanks Sarah for sharing this fun trip!

Oh what a glorious summer it has been! With beautiful adventures aplenty, we just had to take a moment to look back and soak it all in.
From the steep slopes of the Enchantments...
... to high mountain meadows filled with Lupin flowers...
... to sweeping ocean views in South Africa...
... and beautiful fluttering friends in Hungary...
... all the way to the sandy shores of Waldron Island, we've been on some beautiful adventures indeed! Thank you for wandering with us through these summer months, we can't wait to see where Autumn will take us!

This week's lovely nature walk comes to us from the shores of Pathfinder Reservoir, WY. This walk comes to us from much earlier in the spring, but with all this heat, we thought it might be nice to see a reminder of cooler times. There, Arturo and his family explored the reservoir, and got to know the local wildlife. Thank you Arturo for sharing your fun adventure with us!
